Powder Brows
Powder brows, Ombre brows, or Shaded brows, are currently one of the most popular brow trends. The process involves the machine application of small dots of pigments, which build to form a full and defined brow. This differs from microblading, which involves manual hair-like strokes to fill in the brows. This brow method also results in a fuller and more dramatic look than microbladed brows. Powder brows resemble a traditional brow tattoo. Because the machine can penetrate more deeply than manual pigment insertion, powder brows typically last longer than microblading. This method is very suitable for all skin types, but especially those with oily skin. Even if you have naturally full brows, and just want a little extra, powder brows can achieve a soft look with a defined shape that will emphasize your features and compliment your facial structure! This machine technique can also be combined with microblading strokes to create Hybrid Brows.
The Process
The first appointment is called the Initial Session:
We will first apply a topical numbing cream around your eyebrow area, then you will sit and relax in our comfortable lounge for 45 minutes of numbing
Next, we will take "before" pictures, so we can document the changes in your eyebrows
Then, you will be given a very detailed consultation in order to ensure that you and the service provider are on the same page with the desired results
After the consultation, we will pigment match for your specific hair and skin color
A professional evaluation and measurement of your eyebrows will take place in order to ensure a natural and youthful appearance of the brows
Only when you're happy and have approved of everything, we will get started with the actual blading process
Once your brows have received as much enhancement as they can for one session, we will seal the pigment to achieve the best-healed results
We will take an "after" photo of your brows to show the comparison from the original photo
Lastly, upon making sure that you are over the moon for your new brow shape and color, we will then schedule you for your Perfecting Session! *Don't forget Powder Brows are a multi-step process (at least two sessions required)
The second appointment is called the Perfecting Session:
This session is always scheduled between 4-6 weeks after the Initial Session. This will give your skin enough time to process the pigment that has been deposited and to fully heal
Don't worry if you have any oops moments during your first weeks of healing. We will re-add any marks that may have not healed properly, or were accidentally removed during your healing process
We will also check your brow shape and color, adjusting and adding anything that may be needed
During this time we will do anything that is needed to "perfect" your brows
Perfecting Session Pre-Pay Promo
To be booked in-person following your initial session
In order to secure a lower rate for the Perfecting Session, you will have the option to pre-pay for this service at the end of your Initial Session. This promo is only valid during the front desk check-out process, directly following your first Initial Session
Additional Session/Touch-Up us called the Volume Boost Session:
The minimum time frame for clients who desire a touch-up is 6 months. However, most clients receive a touch-up session around 1 year after the perfecting session
The session is for clients whose brows have not completely faded to help maintain the appearance of your brows
For those who wait more than a year, it is possible that you will need more than one session

Powder Brows can last anywhere from 18-24 months. Brows will likely last longer if proper aftercare is followed.
Volume Boosts (touch-up sessions) are usually booked anywhere from 12-24 months, following your 2nd session. If you come for a volume boost regulary, 1 session is all that is required to get you brows back. However, if you go past the 24 months and additional fading occurs, 2 sessions may be required.

Every person has varying levels of sensitivity, but the consensus is that cosmetic brow tattooing is not painful. A topical numbing cream is applied to the treated area 30 minutes prior to the service. This helps to make the service more comfortable. It is important to arrive at your scheduled numbing time to get the benefits of the numbing cream. Arriving late to your appointment takes away from the time that you would spend numbing, therefore, you may not be fully numb by the time the service begins.

YES!
All semi-permanent makeup services require 2 appointments consisting of an Initial Session and a Perfecting Session. To be booked about 4-6 weeks apart from each other.
In 1 session of powder brows you can only achieve 60-80% of the desired result at a time. After your first session, the skin needs proper healing time before we can add additional pigment. Only doing 1 session, could result in uneven and less-than-fabulous brows!
A Volume Boost is a service for anyone who has already gone through the Initial and Perfecting Sessions and just wants more! It is typically done to touch-up faded brows, about 12-18 months after the last session. Some may choose to book a volume boost sooner in order to achieve a bolder brow look. Clients who have already completed both the Initial and Perfecting Sessions will receive complimentary touch-ups, on small sections that need a quick fix.
